About Us

We are a New Zealand company north of Auckland founded by Dr Alistair and Stephanie Lane. 

Our interest in natural products and remedies was sparked when our son, born in 2005, reacted to many household products. We replaced all the products we could with natural options and our son stopped having those reactions. His skin, although not red and irritated, was still quite dry and scaly. We started investigating plant oils and essential oils and enjoyed discovering their very many therapeutic benefits.

Around that time, we met Graeme who had developed an anhydrous (waterless) gel. We could see this would make an ideal mechanism for delivering healing products into the skin.  With Alistair’s strong research science background (PhD), the anhydrous gel formulation was refined to become the basis of a new plant oil sunscreen and a moisturiser. These products worked superbly for our son and we began to give them to friends and family to try with amazing results, hence CoSkin was born.

These products have quite remarkable healing and health giving properties which work well over the huge range of conditions we find ourselves exposed to in modern day life.
